Only five minutes from Gustavia, on the northern side of St Barth, lies the beautiful St. Jean. It’s one of the most popular tourist areas on the island and famous for its luxury villas, trendy restaurants, plentiful markets, chic fashion boutiques and, of course, its beach and natural coral reef. Although located close to the airport, only small aircrafts are allowed and only during daylight hours — so there’s no need to worry about noise from airliners.
